Participants will then make and taste their own matcha drink and accompanying Japanese sweets called nerikiri in cherry blossom and chrysanthemum flavors. Nerikiri is made from a malleable dough of white bean paste, sugar, and gyuhi (soft rice flour dough). Matcha tea bowls, made locally by Charity Rust-Jordan, and extra sweets can be taken home.\n
