Exodus Alternate Documents
An exhibit by Cuban photographer Willy Castellanos. The exhibit documents the harrowing journeys of people leaving Cuba in the 1990s to come to the U.S., with about 35,000 making the attempt and an estimated 10,000 tragically drowning along the way. The artist has since reconnected with some of the survivors who made it to the U.S., making this a deeply moving and impactful exhibit.
