The Indian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky (IACC) formed to serve the tri-state area to bring together professionals and businesses in the area and facilitate relationships between Indian and American individuals and businesses.

Advocacy Organizations

The Asian American Coalition of Ohio (AACO) is a nonprofit, grassroots organization with the mission to educate, engage and empower Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) in Ohio to participate in all aspects of American society.

Greater Cincinnati Chinese Cultural Exchange Association (GCCCEA) is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. GCCCEA is committed to celebrating Asian American cultural heritage, improving cross-cultural understanding, and supporting regional diversity and inclusion initiatives. We partner with social, cultural, citizen and government organizations in the Greater Cincinnati region to build a harmonious and vibrant community where everyone belongs.

Ignite Peace educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust systems, and promotes the creation of a nonviolent society. Ignite Peace works in partnership with immigrant leaders and local organizations to identify, call attention to, and organize around issues facing our local immigrant community. Ignite Peace coordinates the Immigrant Dignity Coalition, a network of 40+ organizations dedicated to informing, connecting, and mobilizing the Southwest Ohio / Northern Kentucky community to defend and protect the dignity of the immigrant and refugee community by working in partnership with one another. Ignite Peace offers interactive, dynamic group presentations to explain how the immigration system works and doesn’t work.

The Immigrant Dignity Coalition’s purpose is to inform, connect, and mobilize the Southwest Ohio / Northern Kentucky community to defend and protect the dignity of the immigrant and refugee community by working in partnership with one another. The Immigrant Dignity Coalition meets monthly to inform, connect, and mobilize its 40+ organizational members. Simultaneous interpretation into Spanish is provided.

•  Work for fundamental human rights and human dignity for all

•  Work for opposition to anti-immigrant harassment of all kinds and the empowerment of immigrants and refugees

The Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), the nation’s oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization, is a membership-based organization whose mission is to secure and maintain the human and civil rights of Americans of Japanese ancestry and others victimized by injustice.

•  At the local level, in addition to carrying out the mission of the national JACL, the local chapter seeks to educate others about the Japanese American experiences and Japanese culture and to promote the appreciation of differences among residents of our area.

To advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States.

•  Created in response to the prejudice, discrimination, and denial of basic civil and human rights, Hispanics were facing at the time

•  Hold voter registration drives, citizenship awareness sessions, health fairs, and tutoring programs, among several more events that benefit the Hispanic/Latino population

•  Established a grassroots organization that empowers its members to take a stand and develop community service programs that directly address the needs of their respective communities

Libraries are the hubs of our neighborhoods. Today, they go beyond just providing access to books. Reach out to your library for a wide variety of services from English language classes to GED classes and other career development services. If you need help with finding employment or starting a business, you can reach out to your local library. They also provide great spaces to hold a local community meeting or connect with your new neighbors.

The Library values free, open, unrestricted access to its collections and services. We are committed to connecting our customers to the ideas, information and materials they wish to explore in a friendly, nonjudgmental manner. We strive to offer materials, programs and services that represent the needs of our diverse population.

•  The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library has one library card and 41 locations to serve you. Our mission is to connect people with the world of ideas and information.

•  The library provides adult ESL, employment services, small business support, free trainings, and much more.

The Kenton County Public Library serves everyone in our community by creating lifelong readers and learners and inspiring imagination through a wide variety of resources and services. We help people to connect to the online world, know their community past and present, and provide comfortable, welcoming and safe places, both virtual and physical, to gather together or work alone.
