Compass Community Council
The Compass Community Council is a community-led group that focuses on amplifying the voices of the immigrant, refugee & ethnic communities represented in the Greater Cincinnati Region. Members work to shape the direction of the council to uplift and strengthen the capacity of their organizations to serve the people they represent.
Civic Action for Refugee Empowerment
CARE-Cincinnati is a refugee-led group focusing on civic engagement, community outreach, and community organizing around key issues identified by community members. Participants also research and gather data on the experiences of immigrant and refugee communities. This data is shared with community leaders and stakeholders.
Immigrant & Refugee Entrepreneur / Small Business Task Force
This collaborative program with the City of Cincinnati, African Professionals Network, and the Latina Entrepreneur Academy connects immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs to small business technical assistance, funding, legal services, coaching, and peer networks.
Immigrant and Refugee Workforce and Career Advancement Roundtable
This Roundtable works to improve accessibility of workforce development resources for immigrant and refugee communities.
Employer Engagement Programs
Employer training and workshops enhance capacities and build strategies in areas of inclusive recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and advancement related to immigrants and refugee talent.
Jobseekers Program
Provides support to internationally trained professionals to re-enter their career field.
