Who We Are
Launched in 2023, this community-led group focuses on amplifying the voices of the immigrant & ethnic communities represented in the Greater Cincinnati Region. Members are immigrant and international community leaders who work to shape the direction of the council to uplift and strengthen the capacity of their organizations to serve the people they represent.
Council Objectives
- Build social connections of Community Based Organizations.
- Enhance capacity to leverage assets of community members.
- Elevate the voices and visibility of community members to bring change.

African Professionals Network (APNET)
APNET’s mission is to provide a forum that unites professionals of African origin and their allies to promote and facilitate charitable and educational initiatives among members and the larger communities they belong to.
Cameroon Family of Cincinnati
Our mission is to unite Cameroonians within the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, and to promote activities of mutual interest.
Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency
Through our network of donors, employees and volunteers, we help reduce poverty, increase self-sufficiency and improve the community by providing resources for people to create healthier, better lives and achieve their full potential.

The Immigrant and Refugee Law Center provides accessible legal services to immigrant and refugee families in the Greater Cincinnati community.
Kentucky African Women Association
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
Kenya Diaspora Community of Cincinnati
Promote the spirit of togetherness, patriotism, networking, and cooperation among Kenyans in the Greater Cincinnati area, for their individual and collective empowerment and success.
Kenyan-Cincinnati Association
Kenyan-Cincinnati Association (KCA) mission is to bring together all the Kenyans residing in the Cincinnati Metropolitan area and to share rich Kenyan heritage with the American people. KCA also intends to help the members to achieve a position of satisfactory economic independence.
Nepali Language and Arts Center (NLAC)
The Nepali Language and Arts Center is dedicated to preserving, promoting, protecting, and strengthening Nepali language, arts, and culture within the Nepali-speaking community. Additionally, it aims to generate and empower new opportunities for children and youths through diverse training programs.
Refuge Collaborative
Refuge is a higher education initiative aimed at addressing barriers refugee students face after resettlement through mentorship focused on education accessibility, ESL, and social and cultural navigation. Refuge envisions creating a community where refugee students have greater access to education through mentorship.
JOMJOP LLC
Our mission is to empower immigrant communities by providing critical legal guidance, advocacy, and community support. Since our founding, we have served as a vital resource for individuals and families navigating complex legal systems, including immigration, family, and traffic courts.
International Center of Greater Cincinnati
The International Center of Greater Cincinnati is a small, all-volunteer nonprofit organization. It assists immigrants, refugees, asylees, and internationals living in the Greater Cincinnati area by helping them with problem-solving and connecting them to social services when appropriate and needed. The Center is open to everyone, regardless of ethnic background, religion, or immigration status.
