Still Moving

Highlighting the profound contributions and enduring impact of immigrants and refugees across the greater Cincinnati region. Shared through the personal vignettes of ten remarkable community leaders, it is a celebration of individual growth and collective achievement.

This exhibit is more than a collection of stories; it is a platform for immigrant and refugee communities to explore and share how our complex histories have driven us to lead and inspire. These narratives provide powerful counterpoints to harmful myths of the model minority and the forever foreigner, presenting instead a nuanced and intimate portrayal of migratory stories as core drivers of action, while also asserting that we are not defined solely by our migration.

Through Still Moving, we invite you to reflect on the resilience, strength, and invaluable contributions of immigrants and refugees. May our stories inspire understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the diverse tapestry of experiences that enrich our region.
